Organisational Development

Essentially this area is about working with the system of an organisation, and helping people who work in complex structures to work better. Organisational development begins by reviewing internal culture, assessing how work is organised and how the organisation itself is structured–right down to the physical placement of office chairs. One of the most common challenges for our larger clients is about getting people to connect and work across the whole organisation, to be driven by shared purpose. Often organisations are structured, directed and incentivised to work really well in focused streams of delivery, without connecting people across teams and into the heart of the business. When organisational development works well, the intelligence and resources of the whole organisation are maximized to incredible effect.
